Alternatives Rurales is a peer-reviewed scientific journal that aims to provide a space for communication, reflection, and debate on rural and agricultural development in the Maghreb and internationally.
This journal is intended for actors in agricultural and rural development, institutional stakeholders, researchers, professional organizations, students, and the general public (see more information in the detailed presentation of the journal). The journal is freely available online, and each issue is printed and distributed in Morocco, thanks to the support of the National School of Agriculture of Meknès.
A special issue on female agricultural workers has just been published.
It is possible to submit contribution proposals (articles or testimonies, see submit an article). Articles are published on the website as soon as they are accepted, in the issue currently in preparation (at the moment, Issue 11).
